Well the tail lamps and reverse lamps have been finished off and I decided to move on to exhaust.

I ended up buying a chambered exhaust and installing it on labor day. I would have to say that this was one of my best mods yet. It woke up the car tremendously and I can't wait till I get it on the road.

Pictures to follow...

Finished the exhaust and I'm still breaking it in on small trips. It made a tremendous difference in the performance and sound of my car. I love it.

Next up is my painted wheels. I wanted to do something different that I haven't really seen on any c3's on any forum i'm part of.

What do you think?

More pictures of the wheels - taken during a very overcast day right before it poured.

Now I want to get longer bolts for the rear to lower the car - it seems higher...

Well I have the wheels, tails, reverse lamps, exhaust, coolant overflow tank, and topped off the fluids and met up with my good friend with his T/A. He completely rebuilt the engine and it is a monster. Here's a couple pictures before we headed out for a little fun

Due to the new exhaust and it's tendency to vibrate the rear deck during normal driving I decided to get some of this....

Image

So I started to prep the back, and it was coated with some really crappy paint and undercoating. So i scraped all that off and cleaned it

and then started to lay down the dynamat...

tested it with the speakers in once I got the main big areas, still need to do the sides (hard parts)

It is amazing how different my radio sounds now, I love it!
