1993 Chevy Caprice

Postby White93ltz on Sun Feb 24, 2008 1:54 am

So this is my 1993 Chevy Caprice LTZ.

I bought it in May 2005, just after my 18th birthday. It had 91,000miles and I paid $3,000 for it. It was my first car, and I had just gotton my liscense. This was her stock. I had big plans for it though.

This first mod I did was the CD player and CB Radio.

I moved to Colorado and became rather broke. However I did scrounge up some mod money, and with it I put on a black Impala grille, and some shiny new 15x7 rims. Stock tires though, and it looked kind of rediculous.

My next mod was to do an Electric Fan conversion, and make this goofy ass cold air intake.

After that I installed Vogtland springs, Bilstien Shocks, UMI control arms, and big BMR swaybars (not pictured).

I also installed new Firestone Firehawk 255/60/15 tires to go with the drop.

One of them didn't last too long.

One day parked outside of a party, I was fortunate to be the victim of a Hit & Run

It allowed me to take insurance money and buy a new Ram-Air hood.

To go along with it I put together this Ram-Air system.

I crashed into a curb one day...(I'd rather not talk about it). It promted me to get new tires, and I'd also wanted to go fatter. I bought new 15x8 wheels for the back, and installed 275/6-/15 tires.

So that's my story. I left a little out since my picture selection is limited. I've still got a bunch more plans for it. True dual exhaust, Tints, Paint my hood, 3.73's and a new tranny are on the short-term list.
Long term, I need more power. Engine swap of some sort. LT1, LS1, something else....? Plus a full paint job of some darker color. DCM maybe.

Thats a real nice caprice! The wheel/tire/spring combo gives it a perfect stance.
