We've been doing some research on swapping a GTP Eaton S/C onto his 3800 Series motor

So the engine I got was out of a 01 camaro. It says in this book that they had at the junkyard that I need to change the intake manifold because they are different. I looked and they are very similar but a little different. It looks like the purge valve is directly connected to the front of the intake manifold in the 01 engine and its on a bar on the side on my 96. The car had intake manifold leak problems in the old engine and I don't want to use the old manifolds. Anybody think there is a way to get around this? The newer engine has an electric throddle body and old TB is not. Where it connects to the intake is a different shape in the new one so idk what to do. TB adapter maybe?

you need to swap the intakes, your motor had a angled throttle body, and the 01's are straight, with electric instead of cable opening it
