7.5" Rebuild

Postby 87' IROC on Sun Feb 17, 2008 11:34 pm

I need my 10 Bolt 7.5" w/disc brakes rebuilt cause it has a bad carrier bearing on the passenger side. Does anyone have any suggestions of garages to take it to, and or maybe a write up of how to replace the bearing? Thanks!

Does Steve still work on them? I might try to catch him sometime on one of these forums.

If he's pretty good at all the gear setup and everything, I may possibly just get my 10 bolt built with a T2R and a 3.73 gearset.

I think my gears might have a little bit of play in them. Can't really tell if that's the reason. But I get a slight clunking and bucking at lower rpms in higher gears at random times. I'd love to figure out the reason for it.
