Camaro-Firebird Day at NED?

Postby StuntmanMike on Sat May 31, 2008 11:36 am

Anyone hear about the Camro-Firebird day at Ned this upcoming Sat, the 7th?

I'll most likely be going, along with a friend of mine and his Firehawk. We'll be leaving out of New Bedford.

Anyone going?

I actually decided not to go.

My friend gave me more info on it, turns out the way it works is that you get 2 time trials before eliminations start, and then the number of runs you get depends on how far you get in eliminations.

My car is stock with an A4 and 2.73's, I seriously doubt I'd make it very far.

I got invited to a cookout on the same day, I figure the cookout will be more fun, and will save me the 60+ bucks gas and whatever the entry fee is.

hey you would be surprised how far you can go with a stock car.

after all it is bracket racing all you need to do is cut good lights and be consistant.

I was up there one time and some body in a caravan went 4 or 5 rounds before they got bumped.

I'm just goin for the Test & Tune in the morning.

I wanna beat up my car a little before I go to St. Louis next week.

Eric, who cares about a slightly wobbly front end. All you gotta do is floor it for 15 seconds. Dont be a pussy!

On a side note, I replaced the intake gasket on my car but im still pissing oil so I might not make it anyway.
