Cars running funky

Postby KissmySS on Tue Apr 08, 2008 11:30 pm

Hey guys,

Well its kinda weird, when the car is cold it runs fine, but once it heats up oil pressure gets real low starts running a little more rough, some shaking and motor gets kinda louder, not sure what it could be, its nothing serious I hope.

this is just a guess but maybe your running lean, id recommend checking your a/f ratio and then the o2's

in cold start mode the car automatically runs on the rich side, which may be why it runs well, and when the cold start mode is over it runs off the o2 sensors readings, which may be causing it to run lean, which would make it idle lower and rougher than normal.

thats just my $0.02
