exhaust.how loud is too loud?

Postby BADASS383CIZ28 on Sat May 10, 2008 2:12 pm

just out of curiosity.how loud is too loud for street driving...i know some cops are tougher than others ......my exhaust is mellow and im thinkin of changing the mufflers to a pair of dynomax bullets . i know it will be louder but i was wondering how many ppl get harassed for their exhaust being loud.

I think it depends on your local cops really, my car is pretty loud, as shown at the Tufts car show haha. But not once have I had a cop stare me down or tail me or anything around here, so it's tough to say.

Yeah, I have long tubes, ORY, and the "Loud" Flowmaster for our cars, not sure which one as it came on the car, but everyone says that it's not the crappy flowing one that comes with the regular exhaust, so I dunno...

I gotta put cats now on my car which sucks so I have to section out the two dumps and put in 2 cats in their place. I don't really think you'll have much of a problem I drive through the most crunchy granola town everyday and get nothing but a few thumbs up here and there and thats with open headers.
