talk to the guys on LS-1 tech. thats the best advice i can give. Before you go to him. Make sure you know A how much you have to spend, B How much hp you want the car to have. C how streetable you want it. D Are you going to do some power adders in the future.

when you figure out the answers to those, then on there and make a thread about it.

Honestly if you are gonna daily drive this car and not go insane with it. DO all the bolton's, headers, fast 90/90, under drive crank pulley, etc. Then JUST get a good cam. You will see probably 350 to 370 RWHP. And as long as the cam isnt huge you will still have a completely streetable car.

350-370rwhp on a h/c ls1 no way. most cam only cars do that with small baby cams. F-Bobby was right tho about going to ls1tech and setting a goal with you price range. a h/c package with mid size cam on average you will see any where from 410rwhp-430rwhp depending on the parts you use. if the tuner if any good almost any cam can be streetable with the right set of gears.

what i would do is pic choose a head that you like and have a custome cam made for you goals and that will compliment the head you choose.

i said a CAM only car will make that much with bolt ons. and I know it will cause i know plenty of people with just cam's and bolt ons done that make around that power. and they arent baby cams either.

no prob. A cam only set up is totally the way to go if you wana keep the car totally streetable and stil get some pretty good power out of it, for decently short money.

Yea car needs to stay streetable, problem is i got a friend that will do the heads for me doesnt feel comfortable doing the cam, idk wat to do, are the heads going to ruin the streetability that much? i dont want to ruin the gas mileage toooo much

lol, gas mileage you bought the wrong kinda car...j/p. its all in the tune as far as streetable. get a good guy to tune the car (Don is by far the best around) and make sure the parts go together and you will see great results
