nooo i like my engine to much hehe. propane is bad news, due to diesels being compression ignition engines, fuel must only enter the cylinder at precise times, the problem with propane is it mixes with the intake charge and enters the cylinder when the intake valve(s) open, this is obv before combustion is supposed to take place but often times the propane starts burning before the diesel fuel comes out of the injectors aka detonation, causing cracks in the pistons and heads. :(

nitrous on the other hand is probably the safest injectable for a diesel, leaning out a diesel with nitrous lowers exhaust gas temperature and cylinder temperatures making the engine less likely to burn down from excessive temps. the only downfall is higher cylinder pressures but anytime you make more power cylinder pressures go up because well thats just physics the larger the explosion in the cylinder the more pressure there is pushing the piston down meaning more torque at the crank shaft.

This is true but just saying you have propane is badass. I'm a gas man myself although I'd like to own a diesel because getting 11 miles to the gallon on the highway sucks
