This is my 88 Monte Carlo SS shes already had many changes...

she started pearl white...she was ugly blah with that stupid purple stripe

I couldnt wait to change her so I primed her orange

Now shes back to primer green because it is time to do some more body work

I hauled out the 305 almost 2 yrs ago and put in a 350 crate motor

it was placed in my bf's 79 impala and never completed and turned over...so ive undone it all and its ready to be hauled once I remove my 350

I was hardcore about a month ago undoing it all...still snow on the ground and laying on cardboard in puddles...in the dark lol

well most engines ive seen being delivered are on a pallet shrink rapped or in a bucket from advance auto

I picked mine up @ dobles chevrolet in NH. They forklifted it into the back of the truck :D

Dobles is the place to go i always see them up at WOW, they had a nice display last time i went there about there parts and Crate engines

bought an oil dipstick tube and dipstick from them for my LT1 and i walked thru the service area... its pretty big in there

dobles is no longer dobles form what i understand, but yeah they are the biggest wholesale Gm parts warehouse in the region. Ya know come to think of it.... i should be able to get a discount there...... i think i will have to look into this.

yea dobles has changed names I dont know what it is now, but yea its diff!!!!

Its an 79 impala first off wayne and I think a guy out it colorado is gonna buy it...Its hard for my BF he wants it LONG GONE!!! It leaks like a mofo theres a hole up on the pass side corner above the windsheild that wasnt fixed properly...he got a little lazy. using the 400 cuz its free...i have my 350 in my monte now which has less then 20,000 miles on it( i wanna haul it out and do the 350 up its a stronger motor then the 400....geezuz 20,000 miles in less then 2 yrs...think i drive much? LOL
