5.0 V8 in a Ford Probe GT

Postby 87' IROC on Sun Feb 17, 2008 7:50 pm

Who thinks this is possible at all. I know I know it's a PROBE but I was just pondering the question of weather it could be done or not since I have a 94' Ford Probe GT sitting in my drive way doing nothing. Maybe thinking of picking up a mustang from the junkyard and seeing what could be had with the two. Thanks for the input.

Well yeah I mean I could get a mustang but I mean I wanted to be a little different. I've NEVER seen a Probe with a V8 so I just thought of a crazy thing which if done and done correctly would be pretty cool in my opinion at least.

Thats what I was thinking but yet again my Probe is just sitting there doing nothing so it's not like I'll be losing out with anything except money. Not like my Probe is a DD :P

i wouldnt ewaste ther time personally, yeah it would be a cool conversion that you dont see very often if at all, but in the end the time might better be spent building a fox body.

exactly. Ive seen a blown big block in an early 80s honda civic with the dude litereally driving from the back seat. so yeah anything is possible, its just are you willing to commit the insane amount of funds and time to doing it and doing it right so you dont tear the car apart with it.
