we cant leave the car at my work for a week. i thought you already had the other trans. Are the actually rebuilding your trans or are then sending you another one and you are sending that one back as a core?

Yea, that's how it's ussually done.

If your not doing that, it's gonna cost you a crapload to crate a trannsmission and ship it.

If that's the only way this place does it, I would once again reccomend Carolina Performance Transmision.

He (shane) is having a tax sale right now. 10% off trannies. Lvl 2 Transmission, rated to 450hp, $1435 shipped to your door and with core shipping paid for.

He was doing a lvl 3 (600hp) for $1435 to the first customer that orders, not sure if you can still be that first customer, but if so that's an unbelievable deal.

I used turbo action and tci for the components in both my trans I have had a local guy do the mods for me 1 trans is a manual cheater valve body and the other is a full race full manual valve body.

I would never buy anything but a trannsmission from carolina performance.

Take that however you want.

I've seen his trannies, in 10, 11 and 12 second Impalas.
---

The only reason you haven't heard of him is because he sticks mostly to Impalas. EVERYONE on the Impala forum that blows a tranny, runs his. EVERYONE.

Nobody has ever reported a failure of his trannsmission. Not a single failure in 600 horsepower cars with racing slicks that drag race, road-course and autocross.
--

That's all I'm gonna say about that. Enough plugging his business.
