sounds like u dodged the bullet
ok front end check, block back wheels. jack up 1 side hi enough to put a jack stand under lower contl arm, let jack down so the weight of car is on stand but hi enough to put something (2x4 or something) stick under front wheel ,lift up/dwn this will check the ball joints
now remove stand and jack up so both wheels are off ground (stands under frame) grab both wheels and pull inward and outward and this will check the idler arm tie rods, center link
check also the bushings in the upper contl arms and bushings in the shock absorbers
